• Quark Henares is a multi-awarded filmmaker known for having written and directed feature films such as Rakenrol, Keka, and the recently released Where is The Lie?. He also created the cult TV series Rakista for TV5 and has helmed music videos for everyone from Gary V. to Sandwich.  As the head of Globe Studios, he executive produced films such as On The Job: The Missing 8, Leonor Will Never Die and Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral. Most recently he was the Head of Originals, Philippines, for Amazon MGM Studios.

  • Arkeofilms is a recognized independent film production company based in Manila. They support filmmakers with a strong vision and produce strange and curious work that inspire discourse. Their works have been screened in hundreds of film festivals and have won awards and recognition from the local industry, critics and the press. Their projects in development have been funded by national agencies and selected for special programs abroad such as Busan’s ACF, Berlinale Talents Tokyo and the IDFA Academy.

    The company is pursuing international co-productions for its upcoming full-length features as well as the development of original content for television and new media platforms. The Sundance-winning “Leonor Will Never Die,” a surreal action drama about a filmmaker who gets transported into one of her films, is the most recent production with Anima Studios, directed by Martika Ramirez Escobar. The project has received support from Purin Pictures, Talents Tokyo and have won major awards in Sundance, Toronto and Sitges.

    The team is currently developing a surreal drama feature, Daughters of the Sea by Martika Ramirez Escobar, Mando's Better World by Joel Ruiz and God of Wrestling by Mihk Vergara.

  • Roberto Cueto is member of the San Sebastian Film Festival Selection Committee. Professor of Media Studies at the Carlos III University in Madrid. He has imparted classes, courses and seminars at the Madrid Film School (ECAM) and at several Spanish universities. He formerly worked as a film journalist and collaborated previously with the Gijón and Sitges Film Festivals. He has coordinated various publications, in addition to having contributed with articles to numerous collective books. 

  • Robyn Citizen is the Director of Programming, Festival and Cinematheque and Lead Programmer for the competitive Platform section at the Toronto International Film Festival. Citizen oversees the regions of France, UK, South Asia and U.S. independents for the Festival and programmed the Cinematheque series Black Futures on Film in 2021 and was lead curator for the Summer of Seoul retrospective on New Korean Cinema in 2022. Before joining TIFF’s programming team Citizen received her PhD in Cinema Studies from New York University in 2015 and was a Lecturer at the University of British Columbia from 2012 to 2017 in the departments of Asian Studies and Theatre and Film. She served as Board co-chair of the local Breakthroughs Film Festival dedicated to supporting emerging filmmakers who identify as women or non-binary and was appointed by Toronto City Council in 2024 to the TO Live Board of Directors which is responsible for overseeing the business affairs and operation management of three Toronto civic theatres.

  • As an Executive at ABS-CBN Entertainment, Ruel S. Bayani is responsible for some of the biggest television hits in the Philippines.

    In 2019, he served as the Philippine Line Producer of Almost Paradise, a co-production between ABS-CBN and Los Angeles-based Electric Entertainment, the first U.S. television series shot entirely in the Philippines. In 2022, he served as a juror at the 50th International Emmy Awards and spearheaded the historical launch and screening of premium drama series 'Cattleya Killer' at MIPCOM Cannes as executive producer.

    Bayani currently heads the ABS-CBN International Productions Division and serves as the Philippine Ambassador to the Asian Academy Creative Awards (AACA).
