  • After his studies of Cultural Management in Vienna, Birmingham and Chicago, Gabor GREINER worked as a journalist and film critic. In 2003, he moved to Brussels to take charge of the distribution support department of the MEDIA Program at the European Commission’s Film Fund. In 2009, Gabor became acquisitions executive at the international sales agent, The Match Factory. In August 2010, Gabor moved to Berlin to take over acquisitions of the French-German sales company, Films Boutique, winner of the Golden Bear in 2017 and 2020 and the Golden Lion in 2011 and 2016. 
    Gabor is a member of the European Film Academy and an active collaborator of Torino Film Lab and EAVE.

  • GABRIELA SERRANO (born 1996) is a Filipina director, editor, & audiovisual artist. She is interested in deeply introspective women’s stories that deconstruct form and reimagine futures in her native Philippines. She holds a degree in Multimedia Arts and is an alumna of the Ricky Lee Scriptwriting Workshop. Her award-winning directorial debut DIKIT, a split-screen depiction of Filipino mythology, feminine anger, and dreams, screened in festivals internationally and was acquired by the Criterion Channel. She continues her exploration of dreams in women’s spaces through the call center sci-fi drama PLEASE BEAR WITH ME, her first full length film in development, recipient of the SGIFF Southeast Asian Film Lab Fellowship Prize, the BIFAN NAFF Asian Discovery Award, a Produire Au Sud selection, and the Festival du Nouveau Cinema de Montréal’s Prix du Nouveau Marché, among others. She has edited shorts, features, and episodic projects, including the Film Independent Spirit Awards-nominated series THE CHOE SHOW. Gabriela is currently working on two new shorts: a companion piece to PLEASE BEAR WITH ME spanning three decades, and a tropical mystery that takes place over the course of three days.

    CMB Film Services, Inc. started in 1986 as a small film and commercial equipment rental company at the Baltazar household in East Riverside in Frisco, Quezon City. The late family patriarch who is a multi-awarded cinematographer, Dengcar Baltazar, founded the company with the help of his wife, Miling Baltazar. In 1993, years after his demise, his son, Jim, took the helm in managing the company and started expanding the business by building up its equipment inventory and developing its freelance crew for both the lighting and camera department. To date, CMB has 70 employees and 400+ freelance crew.

    The company is one of the leading equipment rental & technical services that caters to major TV networks, film companies, and TV commercial production houses including foreign film and TV producers. CMB Films is a major supplier of entertainment production projects (teleserye) for GMA Network. Movie production outfits it has served are Quantum Films, TBA, 1017, TinCan, Project 8 cor San Joaquin Productions plus more. The major commercial production houses it has been servicing are UxS, Arcade Film Factory, IndieGo Media among others.     In terms of capacity, CMB has the ability to serve at least 300 shooting units per month. As part of its social responsibility, it has given all-out support for the development of up and coming cinematographers by partnering with Mowelfund in its training program. CMB Films has also given its full support to independent filmmakers thru various channels like Cine Malaya, QCinema and Cine Panalo just to name a few.

    To complement with its services, CMB has a sister company, Shoot Digital Video Company which was established in 2000 as a Technical Outside Broadcast supplier.   • DCM Autodidact Films was founded in 2014 by Darlene Malimas operating as a media consultant and production company based in Metro Manila, Philippines. Over the years, DCM Autodidact functioned as an affiliate of Autodidact Films of US-based filmmaker and producing partner, Isabel Sandoval. It has also serviced two of the largest TV networks in the Philippines, ABS-CBN and GMA TV as production supplier, film curator and license broker. Through the years, the company has also helped local content creators with the executive production of various digital content and channels. DCM Autodidact was attached as a producer of ""Basurero"", the multi-awarded short from the Philippines which competed and world premiered at the Busan International Film Festival. In 2021, DCM Autodidact through Darlene Malimas acting as EP was involved in bringing to life a cultural-culinary travel series called ""Hereatage"" airing in the Thailand-based streaming platform, TrueID. Assisting the casting for the Amazon Original,   ""Expats"" by Lulu Wang, Darlene through DCM Autodidact conducted Philippine auditions and aided in facilitating in a few of the shoots in Manila. For her recent project, the first Filipino-British film - ""Raging Grace"", DCM Autodidact acted as the company which facilitated, among others, the auditions, music licensing, costume-related assets from the Philippines.
