They have worked on several award-winning projects such as Return to Seoul (2022), Fan Girl (2020) or Viet & Nam (2024). Since 2022 they have partnered with the Asian Project Market at the Busan International Film Festival and QCinema Project Market in 2023 by offering their services to the recipient of the Kongchak Studio Award.

  • KINOFACTION, Japan

    Loaded Films founder Eiko Mizuno-Gray (PLAN 75) and Kinoshita-Kansei Group CEO Masahide Kinoshita have launched a new Tokyo-based production company, Kinofaction. This company aims to focus on minority Japanese co productions by taking a minority stake in feature film projects that include significant Japanese elements and/or talent. Kinofaction is actively seeking projects initiated outside Japan that have strong festival and commercial potential. The projects on their slate include "The Excursion," set in Poland and directed by Kei Ishikawa, known for his Venice titles "Traces Of Sin" (2016) and "A Man" (2020). This new project is a co-production with Poland’s Lava Films, which is at the 77th Cannes with the competition title "The Girl With The Needle." Another project is "KAIKI (The Returning)," a Japan-Philippines co-production by writer-director Atsuko Hirayanagi, represented by UTA. Hirayanagi's credits include the Cannes 2017 title "Oh Lucy!" and the 2022 Amazon Prime Video series "Modern Love Tokyo," where she served as showrunner and director.

    In development is an Osamu Dazai-influenced short film from Vietnamese writer-director Phạm Hoàng Minh Thy, whose 2020 short "Live In Cloud-Cuckoo Land" was featured in Venice.

    FUSEE, Philippines

    FUSEE, a media content creation and investment group, is dedicated to championing Asian representation in film. Our debut co-production, PLAN 75, a Japan-France-Philippines collaboration, garnered acclaim at the 75th Cannes Film Festival and was sold worldwide by France-based Urban Sales. Another notable project, BLUE ROOM, was a hit at Cinemalaya18 and is now available on Netflix, represented by L.A.-based agency Cinema Independent. TOPAKK (Triggered) premiered at Locarno and secured worldwide distribution through Toronto-based Raven Banner Entertainment.

    Upcoming releases include DON’T CRY, BUTTERFLY, a Vietnam-Singapore-Philippines co-production represented by Korea’s Barunson E&A. Currently in production is THE SPLENDOUR OF LIFE, a film to be shot in Canada and the Philippines.

  • Wonsun Shin, a versatile freelance consultant specializing in co-production projects, festival strategies, and remake rights acquisitions, embarked on a transformative journey at CJ Entertainment. Commencing with the domestic marketing team, she collaborated with industry giants Paramount Pictures and Dreamworks Animations, gaining valuable insights into Hollywood tentpole film marketing.

    As the Director of Film Festival Strategies at CJ, Wonsun immersed herself in film festivals, forming lasting connections that extended beyond her tenure. In her role with the US Co-production team at CJ, Wonsun reviewed new submissions, broadening her expertise. Post-CJ, she actively participated in international film festivals and co-production markets, expanding her global network. Noteworthy is her continued cultivation of relationships with major film festivals worldwide, a practice initiated during her tenure and sustained even after leaving that role.

    Beyond her consulting work, Wonsun served as a preliminary selection jury member for NAFF at BIFAN from 2017 to 2018, contributing to project selection. In 2019, she was a jury member selecting a project from NAFF for presentation at the Fantastic 7 showcase in Cannes. Additionally, she served as a selection committee member for NFDC Film Bazaar Goa’s co-production market in 2023 and as a jury member for Storytek Forum during the industry program Baltic Event at the Tallinn International Film Festival in 2017. Her consistent ability to identify talent in project infancy and foster global connections remains a hallmark of her career. Wonsun was on the selection committee for Cannes Investors Circle at Marché du Film in 2024 as well as preliminary selection committee for BIFAN’s NAFF It Project Market in 2024.  Also recently completed selecting first round of projects for Hubert Bals Fund.

  • Yanjmaa Uyenbaatar is Business Development Manager at So Media OTT. Master of Business administration, bachelor of Journalism. She has specialized in consumer marketing, business based on information technology.

  • KIM studied Visual Arts & TV at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, USA. He joined the selection committee of Busan International Film Festival as a programmer in charge of Asian cinema and worked until 2019. He worked for DMZ Docs as a programmer until 2021, and also has worked as a programmer, program consultant, and program advisor to IDFA, Locarno, and many other festivals around the world. He currently works for Seoul Independent Film Festival and Red Sea International Film Festival (Saudi Arabia) as a programmer, and a program consultant to Sheffield Docs (UK).
