A grieving mother resurrects her daughter through a forbidden ritual, awakening Mother Nature’s wrath and blurring the line between love and control as beauty and destruction collide around the world’s largest supervolcano.
Short Synopsis
After the death of her only daughter, Uli returns to her village in Lake Toba, North Sumatra. It lies on the site of the world’s largest supervolcano. When Toba erupted, it nearly wiped out humanity and altered the planet’s climate for decades. Uli performs a forbidden ritual said to bring the dead back to life. Using a dancing wooden doll, she resurrects her daughter. But the act disrupts the balance, stirring the dormant power beneath the volcano and awakening the wrath of Mother Nature herself. Uli must face whether she is saving her child or trying to control a world that has already taken too much from her.
